The plan is to do banksleep every Sunday
I'd say it's essentially that, just a chill time. I hope to make it to the next bank sleepout. We can always hold an emergency GA to stand against policebrutality and such.
Sounds like the banksleep
The point is simply to sleep out, reunite, and connect in a safer and nostalgic location. I'm simply looking forward to the possible discussion. Also it
gives us outreach opportunities.
What's the end goal of the sleepout? We can do it and have a clear point elsewhere. Occupying to occupy is so last fall =P
Well, the worst that can happen is I'd be trespassed... I'm not going to fret.
Osha you can't sleep on peoples plaza for the 5th time.
There will be a gathering at The People's Plaza tomorrow night around 9. We will be sleeping out on the grassy knoll to reunite: https://www.facebook.com/events/304900772927923/
URGENT: Eviction notice posted at Cruz family's home. Emergency rally Mon 4/30 2pm @ 4044 Cedar Ave S to begin defense of home. More info: http://ow.ly/azlGm
Off the top of my head, water coolers, chalk, paint, banner/sign material, food not requiring refrigeration, pallets, tarps, good vibes, and friends.
Nice. There are 3 lists in the ether, idk where at
This is April. I changed my name :)
Anyone know where I can find a list of needed items for tomorrow? It's been requested we get it up on the social networks
Reminder: General Assembly @ Peavey at 6pm tonight. Hope to see you there!
Got your text. I know not of a van in the area. Sorry. :( -glad to hear Finance got in touch! :)
Peavy needs a van ASAP tonight to dry out blankets. 6 occupiers have been hospitalized this week with hypothermia.
General assembly tomorrow, 6pm, peavy plaza. Please spread the word.
Public Safety, Civil Rights & Health Committee meeting, TODAY at 1:30p, City Hall, room 317. Help us defeat Barb Johnson's anti-Occupy, anti-homeless resolution, restricting the use of Minneapolis city plazas, which was referred to this committee last week.
Just wanting to send out a quick reminder: TODAY: 4:30pm @ City Hall is the public hearing on the destruction of Peavey. 6pm tonight is a meeting for next steps @ Peavey Plaza.
I guess so... I believe it is regarding the location of the occupation, but am not completely certain. Just figured I'd send out an FYI to you all. :)
FYI: Emergency GA to be held at The People's Plaza (Grassy Knoll) starting now. (7pm)
You can also set it up so questions are private but answers/alerts go to all. Check the settings, Celly is a neat service! :)
